A colony of ants attack a signed card.

The Effect:
A card is selected and the spectator’s favorite food is drawn on its face. The card is lost in the deck and the performer’s hands are shown to be empty. The cards are spread face down and one is seen to be covered in printed ants. The card is turned over to show that it is in fact the selected card. With a flick the printed ants fall off the card and shower down into the spectator’s hands. The card is then given to the spectator to keep.

The Big Vanish

An ordinary deck of red Bicycle cards are shown. The spectator chooses one card and places it face down on the table. You take the card and place it into the stack of blue jumbo cards.

The jumbo cards are then cut. You turn the cards over one at a time asking with each turn if the card is theirs. You come off as a very bad magician.

You tell the spectator that you dont usually give the secret away. You say, If you noticed, you chose a card from the red deck.

All these jumbo cards have been blue. So, all I need to do is find the red card and it will be yours. When you get to the last card, not only did the spectators original small card vanish, but the last jumbo card has a red back and is revealed to be the chosen card.

Alternate effect:

Magician shows 4 jumbo blue cards. The spectator chooses a red card from an ordinary deck. The magician loses the small card into the jumbo stack. The magician cuts the stack then spreads the cards to reveal 5 cards, four blue and one red. The red card is revealed to be the spectators chosen card and the small card has vanished!

Jester (The Ultimate Rising Card Trick) by John Hausheer

Here is ahumorous new twist to the classic rising card trick. Not one, not two, not eventhree but FOUR cards rise from the deck.

Theintroductory story: There once was a court jester who displeased a great andpowerful king, the king condemned the Court Jester to live forever in a castleof cards. This is that castle and the Court Jester still lives here.

A spectator freely selects any card from the deck and is asked to remember the card. The card is then returned to the deck. You command the Court Jester to reveal himself. The Court Jester rises from the deck. As you remove the Jester and wave it over the deck, you ask the Jester to reveal the spectators card. The Jester ignores you. You place the Jester back into the deck and ask again for him to reveal the chosen card.  A card rises stating: NO!  The cardlowers itself. You ask the Jester if he knows what the queen will do to Jester swho spoil magic tricks and the third card rises, a Queen card which states:OFF with his Head! You then ask Court Jester, will you now reveal the chosen card? and the chosen card rises from the deck.

Hand the card out for inspection. Have the spectator sign the card for added effect.
